Welcome to our beautiful region!
Les Petits Fermiers, are located in Lansargues, in Hérault, South of France, a crossroads rich in culture, heritage, history and natural landscapes.
Our Pays de l’Or Municipality is characterized by its ponds bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, its 18 km of sandy beaches and its 280 days of sunshine per year!
The municipalities north of the pond benefit from preserved natural environments made up of lagoon areas typical of the Camargue landscapes. The villages are lively throughout the summer with traditions around the bouvine and the Camargue races. The agritourism is developing and allows you to discover farms, especially wine-growing.
20 km to the West, Montpellier is a thousand-year-old city that surprisingly combines ancient heritage and contemporary architecture, with its medieval alleys and new quarters with constructions signed by the greatest international architects. A major cultural and sporting place, rich in festivals, Montpellier opens onto the Mediterranean, just a few kilometers away and the reliefs of the Cévennes a little further north.
40 km to the east, Nîmes is a Roman city known for its well-preserved monuments, all of which are around 2,000 years old, such as the Arena, an amphitheater still in use for concerts and bullfights or the Maison Carrée, a temple Roman in white limestone. This ancient architecture, declined over the centuries, has given it its identity, its personality, its uniqueness, and gives it exceptional universal value.
